The challenge
An e-commerce site with more than 100,000 daily visitors cannot afford a slow page or a broken checkout, least of all during promotions when traffic spikes. The business needed cart, product, and promotional logic beyond what an off-the-shelf store offers, while the content team still needed WordPress for the blog. The work was to run both side by side, keep the store fast at that scale, and track every promotion accurately.
Implemented a hybrid setup with Laravel handling custom e-commerce logic and WordPress powering the blog. Designed and coded custom themes and plugins to handle traffic at scale. Optimized database queries, frontend scripts, and server configurations to handle thousands of daily visitors.
