Most sites are not attacked. They are neglected, and then one plugin update takes the checkout down on a Friday. Maintenance is the unglamorous work that keeps that from happening to a Naples business: updates applied on a schedule and tested first, backups you have actually restored once, and someone to call who does not need a week to learn how your site works.

01 — What’s included

Updates run on a staging copy first, not on your live site at two in the afternoon. If something breaks there, you never hear about it. You get a monthly note in plain language saying what was updated, what was blocked and why, how the site performed, and anything worth deciding on. There is no contract term and no charge for small edits — a phone number, a price, a new staff photo.

  1. 01WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, staged and tested before they go live
  2. 02Off-site daily backups, with a restore tested so you know it works
  3. 03Security hardening, malware scanning and uptime monitoring with alerts
  4. 04A monthly report in plain language: what changed, what it cost you, what to decide
  5. 05A small allowance of content edits each month at no extra charge
  6. 06A named developer who answers, and who already knows how the site was built
Local context — Naples

Naples customers expect polish. Luxury real estate, home services, wellness practices, and hospitality businesses in Collier County are judged on their website before the first call, so design quality, speed, and accessibility matter as much as rankings. Many Naples sites also serve a bilingual staff and clientele.

Websites rarely need only one thing done to them. For Naples businesses I also take on website redesign in Naples and business websites in Naples, and just up the road I cover website maintenance in Bonita Springs and website maintenance in Fort Myers.

Website maintenance in Naples

In Collier County the site has to be right when the season opens, not fixed three weeks into it. Maintenance here is scheduled around that: updates and the riskier work land in the quiet months, everything is tested on a staging copy first, and nothing ships in December. You get a monthly note in plain language, and small changes — a new price list, a seasonal menu, a staff photo — are handled without a separate invoice.

Who I build for in Naples

  • Luxury real estateBuyers expect large, sharp photography that still loads fast, plus listing and neighborhood pages that read as well on a phone as on a desktop.
  • Wellness, med spa, and aestheticsClients judge the brand by the site before they book, so design, clear consultation steps, and online booking carry the sale.
  • Home services for seasonal residentsMany owners live elsewhere part of the year, so the site has to explain services, scheduling, and communication clearly to someone who is not in town.
  • Restaurants and hospitalityReservations, menus, and private-event inquiries should take a few taps, and the site has to match the experience guests expect in person.

03 — Process

Four steps and no surprises: you approve the scope before work starts and the site before it launches.

01

Discovery

A short call or email exchange about your goals, your customers and what is not working today. Free, with no commitment.

02

Proposal

A written scope, timeline and fixed price, so you know exactly what you are getting before anything starts.

03

Development

The work happens on a staging site you can open at any time, with plain-language updates at agreed checkpoints.

04

Delivery

Testing, a launch in a low-traffic window, documentation and a handoff session, then support while your team settles in.

04 — Questions

01Can we meet in person in Naples?

Yes, when it helps. Most projects run remotely, and I can meet in Naples for a kickoff or final review. Many Naples clients are here only part of the year, so the process also works entirely by video call and email.

02Can my site be in English and Spanish?

Yes. I build bilingual sites with a separate, properly tagged page for each language, so Google shows each visitor the right version instead of treating the translation as duplicate content. This site is built the same way.

03What happens if the site goes down?

Monitoring tells me before it tells you, in most cases. Restoring from the previous night's backup is a matter of minutes, and you get a note afterwards saying what happened and what stops it happening again.

04Do you maintain sites you did not build?

Yes, after a short audit. Occasionally the audit turns up a site held together badly enough that maintaining it costs more than fixing it, and in that case I tell you plainly rather than bill you monthly to hold it upright.

05Am I locked into a contract?

No. It is month to month, cancel whenever, and the backups and documentation are yours to take with you. I would rather keep clients because the work is worth it.

05 — Service areas

I work with businesses across Florida, on both coasts. Pick your city for details specific to your area.
