01 — The project

The challenge

Invoicing software for many businesses at once means every account’s data, users, and payments have to stay separate, while payouts go to each merchant rather than to the platform. Stripe Connect handles the money, but onboarding, webhooks, and subscription billing all have to stay in sync. The product also launched in five languages, so every screen, email, and invoice had to be translatable from the first day.

Architected and built a complete invoicing SaaS from the ground up using Next.js frontend and NestJS backend. Implemented full Stripe Connect integration for merchant onboarding and payment processing, subscription billing with tiered pricing, and a multilingual interface supporting English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian.
